Custard aka Paul Mayes
Custard is a resident DJ at the top word of mouth event Planet Angel. The last decade has seen him play for an array of promotions, like Vaccine, Extreme Euphoria, Innovate, Tidy, Raindance, Spangulation and Addiction.
Custard is an old rocker who saw the light. After playing as a drummer for such bands as Lemonade Hand Grenade and Lowgold he turned his hand to trance production in 1999 and found he rather liked it. (But he still likes to rock... A bit.)
Tequila Slammer
Tequila has been a DJ for almost 15 years, playing at every kind of venue from filthy squats to Buzz in Washington DC. His home though, (both spiritual and physical) is in London, where he's been a resident at the legendary Planet Angel since it started 11 years ago.
Tequila's musical tastes have spanned a wide array of electronic styles over time, but he keeps coming back to his first love – trance. After some releases on the old Magic Beans label from 2002 he's been spending the rest of his time concentrating on pounding the dance-floors. He hopes that over a decade of watching crowds react to the music he loves has given him a bit of an idea how this dance music thing works.
Danalogue
Danalogue is The Nexus 3's secret weapon, a loose cannon, musical liability and a slave to the saw-wave. He's been in a 'complicated' relationship with his kit for 23 years (since he discovered that 8 bit tracker programs were a good reason to not to leave the house). They are working on it but are beyond counseling.
He self-medicates with loops, melodies, progressions and (over the) counterpoint, all of which makes him quite useful when it comes to producing trance.
